Can I buy Address labels to use in my printer?
We offer a range of labels designed to work in either Inkjet or Laser printers. You can choose from plain white labels, clear labels and coated labels for colour printing. Most labels are guaranteed 'jam free' by the manufacturer. If you have a Laser Printer you will need Laser Labels that are compatible e.g. able to handle the heat of Laser printing. If you have an Inkjet Printer you will need Inkjet Labels that are compatible e.g. able to absorb the ink. Make sure you follow the manufacturers directions for your printer.

When should I use Clear Labels?
Clear Labels are designed to blend with white and light backgrounds for a highly professional look. They look great on coloured envelopes also. We supply clear labels that are suitable for use on both Inkjet and Laser printers.

Do you supply franking machine labels?

We stock franking machine labels for both automatic and manual machines. The auto franking labels are dispensed from a cassette feeder designed to ensure the print dries quickly. The label has a grip tab to help speed up the application. The manual franking machine labels are boxed in 1000's with two labels per sheet.

How do I prevent the label sheets from jamming in my printer?
Before inserting your labels into your printer the manufacturers suggest that the sheets are fanned (to separate) and then knock the edge on a flat surface before feeding the labels into your printer. Do not use a sheet of labels if the edges are bent or damaged. Once a label has been removed from a sheet, DO NOT re-feed the sheet through the printer as this could damage the printer and/or the printer drum.

How do I know that the labels can be used with my computer?
Label templates are available in Microsoft Word and other popular software packages. On a blank document in Word you access the 'tools' option in the menu bar. Follow the prompts and select the label size you require either by the exact measurement or the Avery reference code (eg J675). You then insert the labels in your printer tray and you are ready to print. Most PCs will accomodate Labels however you need to make the right choice for your printer. There is a large selection of Inkjet and Laser Label options to work with your Printer. We also have a large range of Labels for use with Copiers.

How should I store my labels?
Flat sheet labels once opened should be kept in their original packaging as this keeps the labels flat and avoids curling etc.

Do you have labels that I can use with my typewriter?
Yes, the most popular typewriter labels are available in rolls ranging from 120 labels to 250 labels per roll. The most popular size is 36 x 89mm or 1.5 x 3.5 in.

How do I label my CD & DVDs?
There are a range of CD & DVD labels available. You can purchase traditional A4 sheet labels, which you peel and place manually. However, there is now also available complete labeling solutions that can hold the CD in place while you apply the special labels.  The Avery after Burner offers a complete CD labelling solution. You can label your CD's in just three easy steps. The innovative applicator allows labels to be rolled onto the CD leaving no wrinkles or bubbles.  The 'no touch' labels mean labels can be applied without touching the design therefore no smudges. This labelling system includes Click 'n Design software with over 5000 images, including pre-formatted designs, clip art and photos. The kit includes software, applicator, 24 labels and 10 inserts.
